Code of Business Ethics

International Paper published and distributed its first Ethics Handbook in 1999.  In light of changes in applicable laws and company policy, the company published its Code of Business Ethics in 2003.  The Code, which has been adopted by IP's Board of Directors, is based on input from hundreds of our teammates worldwide.  The Code contains specific information about ethics, personal integrity and compliance with applicable laws and policies.  It describes how to access company resources for counseling, assistance and reporting of violations of the Code.
