"To-Go" Packaging Keeping Meals from Getting Soggy
With today's busy lifestyles, full-service restaurants are seeing a growth in "to-go" meals. People want the restaurants' food, but they want it at home (or at work on those late nights). The problem restaurants face is that no matter how appealing the food looks when it comes out of the kitchen, it is often soggy and unappetizing by the time people get it home. The cause: the white-foam, hinged packaging that many restaurants use for "to-go" foods. The foam traps the condensation from the warm food in the package making the food soggy over time.
