Product safety data sheets

In March 2012 the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) updated its Hazard Communication Standard and identified dust, which can be generated from the conversion of pulp and paperboard products, as a combustible dust hazard.  This determination now requires that our pulp, paper and paperboard products that will be converted or handled in a manner that can generate dust must have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label to appropriately communicate this information to our customers.

It is important to understand that we have not changed the manufacturing process, composition or physical characteristics of our products.  Our products are not hazardous in the form in which they are shipped by us, but they may pose a hazard when they are converted in downstream activities such as slitting, cutting or pulverizing.

Listed below are the most current SDSs for your use.  If you have any questions, please contact your Sales or Customer Service representative.
