How we measure success:
We are committed to advancing the circular economy.
At International Paper, we’re advancing the circular economy across our value chain, helping to lead the transition to a sustainable low-carbon future.
Circularity is a key strategy for International Paper. We prioritize the use of resources that are renewable, sustainably managed, and can be reused through design, production and recovery across our value chain. Circularity means recovering and reusing as much wood fiber, energy, water and other materials as possible in a continual cycle from natural resource to finished product and back again. Likewise, it means keeping as much material as possible from becoming waste destined for landfills.
Benefits of fiber-based packaging:
Made from a renewable resource
Easy to recycle
Lightweight
Lower carbon footprint
Keeps forests working
Strategic collaborations and initiatives
We recognize the importance of strategic collaboration to make meaningful progress across our value chain.
